For eight years I stood back helplessly and watched as I saw an American president and his Democratic Party do everything they could to weaken our country.
Whether it was via destructive, anti-growth regulations and policies like Obamacare domestically or foreign policy initiatives and objectives that left the United States far more vulnerable and less safe, I never wanted to believe that President Obama hated his own nation enough to inflict direct harm on our people.
And yet, because of his hatred for Israel and his desire to “transform” America, that’s precisely what he did, all while putting U.S. national security at risk.
A bombshell report that virtually no one in the corrupt, disgustingly biased “mainstream” media is talking about was published by none other than Politico earlier this week describing how the Obama regime purposely tanked U.S. intelligence and law enforcement efforts to disrupt Iranian proxy Hezbollah’s global, billion-dollar criminal enterprise consisting primarily of drug-trafficking so he could make his precious “nuclear deal” that won’t do anything to prevent Iran from eventually obtaining nuclear weapons.
From the report’s first paragraph, which essentially sums up the other 14,000 words in the story:
In its determination to secure a nuclear deal with Iran, the Obama administration derailed an ambitious law enforcement campaign targeting drug trafficking by the Iranian-backed terrorist group Hezbollah, even as it was funneling cocaine into the United States, according to a POLITICO investigation.
The campaign was dubbed Operation Cassandra and, as The National Sentinel reported, “was launched in 2008 after the Drug Enforcement Administration collected evidence that Hezbollah had grown from a regional Middle Eastern terrorist and political organization into a global crime syndicate that some U.S. investigators say led to $1 billion annually in drug and weapons trafficking, money laundering and other criminal activities.”
In case you don’t know, Hezbollah is a militant and terrorist group with a major foothold in Lebanon. The organization is well-armed, thanks to its benefactor, Iran, and is a mortal enemy of the Middle East’s principal power and democracy, Israel. (Related: Netanyahu tells Russian defense minister Israel cannot allow Iranian bases in Syria.)
The report noted further that U.S. intelligence and law enforcement agencies were able to follow Hezbollah-initiated cocaine shipments from Latin American to West Africa and Europe to the Middle East, while others traveled through Venezuela and Mexico destined for the United States.
But as Project Cassandra uncovered more of the conspiracy, officials within the Obama administration and White House began to put up one roadblock after another making it difficult if not impossible to not only continue tracking Hezbollah’s activities but learning who the key players in the organization were and then going after them.
Because after all, doing the right thing for the American people and his own country would have meant that Obama would have ‘angered’ Iran, and he couldn’t have that because he had a dirty deal he had to make.
“This was a policy decision, it was a systematic decision,” David Asher, who helped establish and oversee Project Cassandra as a Defense Department illicit finance analyst, told Politico. “They serially ripped apart this entire effort that was very well supported and resourced, and it was done from the top down.”
Now mind you, Obama and his minions were doing this — allowing tons of cocaine to come into the U.S. — while the country was battling an opioid outbreak, and while hundreds of millions in profits were going to a group that has vowed to destroy Israel and the U.S.
Because of this callous disregard for his country and the Jewish state, an Israeli leader is demanding that Obama give back his Nobel Peace Prize (which he won after just a few weeks as president before he had even done anything).
“Obama must return his Nobel Peace Prize,” Yesh Atid chairman Yair Lapid said following the report, according to The Jerusalem Post. “Israel warned repeatedly that there can be no connection between the nuclear deal and anti-terror activity, certainly against Hezbollah. … We also warned of this specifically, because of the proven link between Hezbollah and Iran.”
Obama won’t give it back, of course, because of his narcissism.
