Sick of it: POTUS Trump warns White House ‘traitor’ leakers – ‘We will find you’

(National SentinelUndermine: Sick and tired of having classified or otherwise sensitive information leaked to various media by White House staff, President Donald J. Trump on Monday pledged that his administration would find out who the “traitors” are.

“We will find out who they are,” Trump said after referring to the leakers as “traitors and cowards.”

The president was responding to a recent leak from White House staff regarding alleging a disparaging remark about Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., who is dying from an aggressive form of brain cancer.

Trump made his comments via Twitter on Monday.

“The so-called leaks coming out of the White House are a massive over exaggeration put out by the Fake News Media in order to make us look as bad as possible. With that being said, leakers are traitors and cowards, and we will find out who they are!” he wrote.

Others agree that all the leaking — by never-Trump staffers and Obama holdovers — is pathetic and improper.

Karl Rove, former deputy chief of staff and senior adviser for President George W. Bush, took aim Monday at those who leak information from inside the White House.

“I’ve never seen a White House leak as much against itself as this one, and these people are putting their own personal agendas above those of the country and the president that they serve,” Rove said on Fox Business‘ “Mornings With Maria.”

“Frankly, it’s ridiculous, it’s despicable, it’s reprehensible, and it doesn’t help anyone,” Rove said.

The former Bush staffer and never-Trumper went on to blame the president, however.

“Who’s the biggest leaker in the White House? It’s the president of the United States, who calls up media figures all of the time and tells them stuff that he shouldn’t be telling them,” Rove said without elaborating.

“He gives them license to do this stuff,” Rove said.

Actually, no, Trump doesn’t give anyone ‘permission’ to leak. His style being what it is, he deserves the same respect and decorum that staff for other presidents have been shown.
