President Donald Trump warned Friday that people looking to disrupt his campaign rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma “will not be treated” like they have been in other areas of the country.
“It will be a much different scene!” the president said in a tweet.
In particular, the three cities that the president mentioned had been rocked by protests in the wake of the death of George Floyd. The protests – which have now been held in over 2,000 cities and towns across the United States – have been marred with violence.
Any protesters, anarchists, agitators, looters or lowlifes who are going to Oklahoma please understand, you will not be treated like you have been in New York, Seattle, or Minneapolis. It will be a much different scene!

Natural News has reported on how peaceful protests have devolved into looting and crime in many cities. More recent stories include:
Trump has criticized leaders in New York, Seattle and Minneapolis for their poor handling of the protests. In Seattle, rioters descended upon the Capitol Hill neighborhood and created a so-called autonomous region called the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone, a lawless community now ruled by a de-facto warlord who reportedly “beats women, forces them into sex work and punishes them if they do not obey.”
In response, the president has criticized Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan for allowing the rioters to seize and occupy parts of her city, saying the mayor made “a lot of bad decisions.”
“We’re not going to let Seattle be occupied by anarchists,” Trump added. “Toughness sometimes is the most compassionate, because people are getting badly hurt.”
On Thursday, Tulsa Mayor G.T. Bynum enforced a 10 p.m. curfew for the area around the Bank of Oklahoma (BOK) Center, the venue for Trump’s rally. The city’s police department said that the curfew is part of the city’s preparation to prevent violent protests during the rally. The city is expected to enforce the curfew until Sunday, June 21.
According to Bynum, the mayor’s office received information that individuals who have been linked to violent riots in other cities are planning to descend to the city and cause unrest during the rally.
“We are working on making the area secure for everyone’s safety,” the police department explained in a statement.
A Breitbart report from Tulsa confirmed that while a curfew is in place, it is still not being enforced, as long as people behave and do not cause any trouble. The city’s police warned, however, that those who refuse to cooperate “may be cited or arrested.”
“We understand that many people are unaware that a curfew will be in place and barricades are still in the process of being setup. If we find anyone in violation of the Executive Order this evening, we will request that they leave the area based on the curfew,” the statement read.
For the event, the Trump campaign is planning to distribute masks and hand sanitizers to attendees. Those planning to attend the convention will be subjected to temperature checks before they enter the BOK Center. According to organizers, they received more than a million requests for tickets. People joining the convention are also asked to sign a waiver that clears the campaign or venue of any liability should they become sick after the rally. “Big crowds and lines already forming in Tulsa. My campaign hasn’t started yet. It starts on Saturday night in Oklahoma!” the president tweeted on Friday.
