New Jersey mail carrier Nicholas Beauchene, 26, has been arrested on charges of delay, secretion, detention and obstruction of mail after “a large quantity” of mail-in ballots along his route were found discarded in a dumpster.
An analysis of the recovered mail found that it came from two different postal routes scheduled for delivery on two different dates. The first portion was scheduled for delivery to Postal Route 79 on or around Sept. 28, while the other was scheduled for delivery to Postal Route 50 on or around Oct. 1.
Both routes are serviced out of the same Orange branch of the United States Postal Service (USPS), covering areas throughout West Orange, and Beauchene was the only mail carrier assigned to the routes on those particular days.
A total of 788 pieces of mail intended for addresses along this route were recovered from a dumpster outside of a bank in North Arlington on Oct. 2. A second pile of mail was discovered in another dumpster located outside of a restaurant in West Orange on or around Oct. 5, authorities indicated. This second batch contained only one general election ballot.
Beauchene was the assigned mail carrier for both dumped mail loads, seemingly implicating him as the culprit. Altogether, nearly 2,000 pieces of mail were found in both of the dumpsters.
Upon being discovered, the recovered mail “was placed back into the mail stream for delivery to its intended recipients,” indicated U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey Craig Carpenito in a statement.
If convicted, Beauchene faces up to five years and six months in prison, as well as a fine of $255,000. As of this writing, there is no indication as to whether or not Beauchene has retained an attorney in his defense.
The strange thing is that none of this should have happened, according to Democrats, who reassured us all that mail-in voting is completely risk-free. The left even went so far as to demonize the president for raising concerns about potential mail-in election fraud, which they called a baseless conspiracy theory.
Beauchene’s alleged criminal activity proves that the Democrats were lying, and continue to lie, about the safety and integrity of mail-in ballots, which as we can see are easily stolen and trashed by bad actors trying to tamper with the election.
This is one of the reasons why President Trump is pushing for Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s vacant Supreme Court seat to be filled immediately. No matter which way it goes, the election results are sure to be hotly contested due to the mail-in ballot “scam,” as Trump called it, and a full Supreme Court will be needed to deal with it.
A similar situation was reported out of Wisconsin, where a trove of absentee ballots, almost all for Trump, were recovered from a ditch near Appleton International Airport.
As we reported, the USPS launched an investigation, but the matter has not yet been resolved. And keep in mind that this happened just weeks before election day, once again showing that mail-in voting is rife with tampering and fraud.
“This is what we are supposed to trust in an election?” asked one commenter at The Epoch Times. “No thank you. VOTE in person if possible. Take your ballots to the county courthouse if you are stuck in a mail-in state.”
“And the Dems say mail-in voting fraud doesn’t occur,” wrote another. “The liberal media should be sued for all they are worth; it is nothing but lies and propaganda for the Democratic party.”
