One of the worst things about widespread early mail-in balloting is that millions of Americans have likely already voted for a swamp creature whose family appears to be as corrupt as the day is long.
In recent days, reports originating with the New York Post revealed bombshell emails and materials describing a whole new level of corruption involving Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden, his son Hunter Biden, and various members of the Biden clan.
The materials and emails were reportedly left on the hard drive of a laptop Hunter Biden took to a Delaware repair shop but never picked up, which made it the property of the shop owner.
After downloading materials that were disturbing, the shop owner turned the laptop over to the FBI (which has done nothing) and gave copies to friends. He also gave one to presidential lawyer and former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, who, in turn, gave it to the Post.
In any event, some of the most incriminating evidence — so far — involves the Bidens’ dealings and interactions with Ukrainian energy firm Burisma. We already knew that Hunter Biden was a company board member for a number of years pulling down $50,000 a month. Joe Biden had previously claimed he had no information about his son’s dealings with Burisma because he never asked him about those dealings.
According to emails the Post revealed, that’s a lie: Hunter Biden introduced Joe Biden, allegedly, to a ranking Burisma official in April 2015, about a year after Hunter became a board member.
There’s more, as Breitbart News’ Joel Pollak notes:
An adviser to the Ukrainian energy company Burisma suggested in an email in 2015 that Hunter Biden was expected to provide “deliverables” for the company, including the “ultimate purpose” of stopping “cases/pursuits into the company’s founder. …
The batch includes an email in November 2015 from Burisma adviser Vadim Pozharskyi to Hunter Biden’s business partners (on which Hunter Biden was cc’ed), outlining a set of “deliverables.”
The emails make clear that Biden and his partners were expected to arrange meetings with U.S. and Ukrainian officials with the goal of “improving Nikolay’s case and his situation in Ukraine.”
Nikolay, the Post reports, appears to be a reference to the founder of Burisma, Mykola Zlochevsky.
Pozharskyi noted that the “list of deliverables” would include “the ultimate purpose” of halting “cases/pursuits against Nikolay.”
“My only concern is focus to be on the same page re our final goals,” he wrote. “With this in mind, I would like to formulate a list of deliverables, including, but not limited to: a concrete course of actions, uncle. meetings/communications resulting in high-ranking US officials in Ukraine (US Ambassador) and in US publicly or in private communication/comment expressing their “positive opinion” and support of Nikolay/Burisma to the highest level of decision makers here in Ukraine: President of Ukraine, president Chief of staff, Prosecutor General, etc.”
Recall that Joe Biden is on the record bragging at a Council on Foreign Relations event in 2018 how he threatened, as Obama’s vice president, to withhold $1 billion in U.S. aid from the Ukrainian government unless a top prosecutor, Viktor Shokin, was fired after he launched a corruption probe into Burisma.
Shokin was fired. That ‘deliverable’ was delivered.
This matters, of course, because, readers recall, President Donald Trump was impeached by the Democrat-controlled House for an alleged “quid pro quo” involving the Ukrainian government: Trump was accused of withholding military aid from the country in exchange for a pledge from Kiev to investigate the Bidens (turns out that needed to happen, actually, but Trump never demanded it).
Trump was accused of doing what Joe Biden did, in other words.
In May 2014, Pozharskyi wrote to Hunter Biden and asked for some high-power help from ‘someone’ in the Obama administration to get the investigation ended.
“We urgently need your advice on how you could use your influence to convey a message / signal, etc. to stop what we consider to be politically motivated actions,” he wrote.
Again, Hunter and Joe Biden appear to have delivered.
