The Democrats are playing a dumb game against former President Donald Trump, according to Stacey Campfield.
“What are the Democrats trying to do with invading Donald Trump’s private residence and going after everything they can and rifling through everything they can and searching everything they can, looking for something? They are playing a very dumb, dumb game against Trump. Even if they win, they lose,” Campfield said during the Aug. 18 episode of “The Reality Camp” on Brighteon.TV.
The former Tennessee senator and congressman put forward two possible scenarios after the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) raid on Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida. (Related: GOP lawmakers call for disbanding the FBI following politicized raid on Trump’s Florida home.)
In the first scenario, everything goes Trump’s way. The investigation against the former president is another whole bunch of nothing, Campfield said, adding that it will just gain Trump more support from the people.
According to Campfield, the Democrats have just played into Trump’s hands and his favorite talking point, which is an out-of-control Deep State that only he can take care of. The “Reality Camp” host added that Trump wins if he gets to walk away with no criminal charges against him.
Campfield then talked about the other scenario, with Trump losing and everything going against him.
“The Democrats find something, they manufacture something and they pump it up into something. And Trump gets convicted of some ridiculous crime that most people aren’t going to buy into. He’s not allowed to run for office again and let’s just say that happens. Worst case scenario, honestly, this scenario is even worse for Democrats,” Campfield said.
The former Tennessee lawmaker said 95 percent of the American people are going to see it as a political attack on Trump. He added that people who feel they are being cheated out of their votes are going to stick it back to the Democrats in the coming elections.
Campfield said lots of people who may not even like Trump are against the way he is being treated right now. The Brighteon.TV host noted that Trump getting kicked off the ballot means the Democratic Party’s hate machine will have to start all over again with a new target.
If the second scenario plays out, Campfield said Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis would be the likely Republican nominee for president and his vice president could be Donald Trump, Jr.
“He’ll have the support of every single Donald Trump supporter out there. Donald Trump, Sr. – he’s not gonna go away. He’ll still be out there pushing his son, rubbing Democrat noses into everything, firing up the base like only he can do. Not only that, the Democrats won’t be able to attack Trump Sr. seriously because he’s not the candidate,” Campfield said.
“With Trump Jr. Americans are getting more of the same and a younger package of Trump Sr. with no real baggage and two terms waiting to back him up. This is not going to be a win for the Democrats even if Joe Biden runs for reelection or Vice-President Kamala Harris gets the presidential nomination in 2024.”
The “Reality Camp” host also noted that the American people are not happy with the FBI, and some are even making threats against the federal agency. He cautioned people about making threats against the FBI, saying that “it is stupid and dumb” to do that.
The FBI may be taking most of the heat right now, but the Democrats are about to get burned soon – specifically in the midterm elections.
